i have been playing "spore", a new pc game a bit like the old BBC game Elite when you get to the space stage, cool game. but it still crashes , dam!. anyone played privateer 2 the darkening? that was better as it had a plot and more personality. also stared clive owen and Christopher walken, john hurt and others.
maybe brian blessed but i may have imagined that. he was in the comedy show "wrong door" on bbc3 if anyone saw that? he is great as a pirate.
anyway back to moaning about pc games, EA is the publisher and i find that your only allowed to install it 3 times verified by online (required to install). how bad is that. thats like only being allowed to turn your TV on 3 times. hmm best leave it on then. must keep that toaster button depressed. must leave my car engine on or it will get taken back off me. crazy, grrrrr aholes.
also to get patches you need to register for the EA download manager, which i refuse to do. funnily the new patch came out a few days ago and its made a lot of people unable to play the game, hmm seems familiar..
feel i need to vent off the fury of operating systems, why are they so slow and crap? they need to be ROM based like the computers of old. turn the on button and you get to the boot screen at the speed of light. mmm the flashing square cursor of power!
in fact maybe they were fast as they didnt actually do anything. so forget that.
anyone else get the windows shut down rage? i get this when i click turn off then it says windows shutting down, if it doesnt do it within 5 seconds i get mad and turn it off at the plug and say "aahhahaha work that one out!" good thing is it doesnt seem to have any bad effects on reboot. i guess that is a bit like road rage for computers, there are limits of patience. i also get this creepy feeling while its out of my control that the computer is doing something to spite me like preparing some trap. but that could be normal paranoia.

i love star wars. i know my pentium 4 3.0ghz will not be upto handling it though. you played it?
i dont have money to spend on upgrading my pc now. unless say a 3.4/3.8 p4 came up on ebay really cheap, though i dont even know if that would work on my board. need more core power captain.

ive been playin a free game called Air Rivals its a fps but in space ship kinda thingies ? its a bit crappy in the early levels as its also a rpg ish game too.

I hold a 3yr old and a 1yr old so this gamey is fun for both of them. My 3yr old plays the module game. My 1yr old likes to agaze and finis the doors.
